Born August 5 1959 as Georg Ruthenburg in Los Angelos California, ran away at 13 to join a jesus commune. While attending a specialized academy he would meet vocalist Darby Crash whith whom they would start the band Germ. They would add bassist Lorna Doom and Drummer Don Bolles, together they would gain momentum in the LA underground community in the late 70's.
